Nuad Bo Rarn, or Traditional Thai Massage is an ancient form of bodywork that has roots in Ayurvedic medicine – the traditional medicine of India. It is often described as “lazy man’s yoga” and consists of deep compressions and full-body passive stretches to bring deep mental and physical relaxation to one’s body.
The massage is done on a floor mat, and the client wears loose comfortable clothing. The practitioner uses their whole body – hands, arms, feet, knees, etc. – to stretch and relax tight muscles, free up stuck joints, and release tension in the deepest layers of our physical, mental, and energetic bodies.
Those with very athletic or active lifestyles, those who are highly stressed, and those who have chronic tension that does not seem to be relieved with conventional treatment methods tend to fall in love with Thai Massage.
